Situated just three miles form the M5 and a similar distance from the City centre and the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge, Long Ashton is one of the area’s most well established golf courses.
Founded in 1893 the course set high above the city of Bristol, meanders along the spine of a limestone ridge providing a free draining course that is in use all year round. Boosted by views across the Mendip Hills as well as this maritime city, Long Ashton will provide the perfect setting for golfers travelling from different parts of the country who require easy access from the motorway network.
The course without being over-long at 6193 yards from the white tees will offer golfers of all abilities a true challenge, a par 70 course with the course-record still no better than 65, LA, as it is affectionately known, has withstood the test of time and still fights back to the ever increasing threat of improved club and ball technology.
With visitors returning year upon year you can rest assured that you will always be greeted by a most welcoming clubhouse and professional shop. |
