Wrangaton Golf Club was formed in 1895 when a 9 hole course was established on rented land, at the foot of Ugborough Beacon. The Club now owns the land and has added a further 50 acres of parkland below the original course and a further 9 holes were added in 1988. The result is a uniquely different and challenging course, with 9 holes moorland and 9 holes parkland. With its magnificent views over the South Hams towards the sea the Clubhouse, and the new conservatory, is the ideal venue to relax in the friendly atmosphere, enjoy a drink or a delicious snack.

The Project...
In talking to the club it became obvious that they were looking for something that was firstly; robust enough to cope with the extreme weather conditions, but also smart enough to reflect the quality of the golf course.

The low-lying Cumbrian stone fit the bill; plenty of character, displaying an oval zinc plate. This style of stone also provides adequate space for displaying sponsor information, which tied in perfectly with the clubs requirement.
